A Face Behind the Foundation

Past Chair of the Board of Directors, Richard Kosinski, Discusses His Involvement with A Caring Hand, The Billy Esposito Foundation.

I felt a strong connection to the cause behind A Caring Hand, The Billy Esposito Foundation (ACH) because of my love for children. For eight years, I coached a Catholic Youth Organization basketball team because I believe in giving back to the community. After sitting in on my first ACH Board of Directors meeting, I felt that I could add value and decided to become a board member. As a board member I am responsible for helping to plan the annual gala and raise money to make sure the A Caring Hand, The Billy Esposito Foundation Bereavement Program continues and that we can provide educational scholarships for bereaved children.

One of my proudest accomplishments was being a part of the Board of Directors when the Bereavement Center was first opened. My best memory was being at the grand opening of the Bereavement Center and knowing that we reached our goal in opening up a center and will be able to have an immediate impact on children’s lives. I am committed to remaining a member of the board and doing all I can to make the program a success.

On a personal note, I received my Bachelors degree in finance from Baruch College and I am currently a partner in Brio Benefit Consulting, which is an employee benefit consulting firm. My interests are to stay involved with the community and giving back as much as possible. I love working with people and developing long lasting relationships.
